[She raises her eyebrows briefly, but it doesn't feel like there's any malice in his words.

[ Florian wakes up immediately aware of two things: the first is that he is not alone. The second is that it is Thrawn who's here with him, and he'll peer up from his bed to his inmate. ]

[Thrawn glances up from his datapad, with a slight but reassuring smile. His bootless feet are up against Florian, one of his socks touching his warden's side]

[Thrawn nods, and settles his feet back on the ground, beginning to put on his boots]

I have cancelled my in-person appointments for the remainder of the flood and I have accurate amounts of stim shots and caf. I can accompany you to your tasks as needed.

If you prefer your privacy, I will wear blinders, or headphones if necessary.

[ He moves to get up and pauses as he hears part of what Thrawn has offered. He decides to get dressed first and approach that second and thankfully, he does have a dressing screen in the room. It serves their purposes well enough. Once he's out- ]

I've no need for privacy from you in this respect. But I would like to know what you mean by 'accurate amounts of stim shots and caf' in regards to this situation. Given that staying awake at all hours to accomodate both your and my schedule isn't necessary.

[He nods, and withdraws the backpack he'd been leaning against, displaying a number of shots similar to insulin or epinephrine. They're categorized, labeled, and sealed in a box Thrawn keeps shut tight]

The caf is in Wu Xin's cabin alongside his food replicator. I will need to go to him for those.

I did not think sitting around for the requisite three-to-six days, on average, this flood may last would beneficial when we share opposite schedules. Nor do I imagine you wish to be asleep while I cart you around the ship. We have at least one adversary here.

[ He glances at the stims and the rest before looking back. His nose scrunches at the mention of an 'adversary'. ]

He isn't nearly enough of a problem for either of us to give him that title. But I don't discount his threat.

[ He waves that off. ]

And the obvious answer is to have my schedule changed. I intend to ask the Admiral to see if he will and, if not, I will see what magic I can work on myself. [ A glance over. ] Not to never rest, but to make my schedule diurnal for the time being.

Agreed. I will not underestimate him.

[Thrawn tilts his head, curious]

You can do this without exhausting your magic stores or your mind? I was under the impression you were a very young vampire.

Most vampires do not have magic at their disposal. And it's a problem I've considered a few times.
